First-class NADH products from Switzerland

The coenzyme NADH (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide Hydride) reacts in the mitochondria, the body’s tiny “power plants” for energy production, with the oxygen we take in through respiration. This produces the universal energy molecule ATP (adenosine triphosphate), which is found in every cell. This serves the organism as an energy carrier and store. In this way, NADH is involved in countless metabolic processes. Without effective protection, NADH is unfortunately unstable and decays rapidly. Quality is very important to us! Our product NADH Vida therefore contains a stabilized and scientifically tested form of NADH from a patented manufacturing process.

Coenzyme NADH

NADH, also called coenzyme 1, is the oxidized variant of NAD+. Written out, this has the long name nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide.

It is an endogenous substance that intervenes as a coenzyme in the mechanisms of the human organism and is essential for survival. NADH is present in every single cell of the body and performs some important tasks, especially in the energy production of the cells.

It is possible to take NADH as a food supplement in the form of capsules or tablets. Therefore, the question arises, does the substitution make sense for you personally?

What is NADH for dietary supplementation?

To answer this question, we must first take a closer look at the meaning of NADH.

The name is derived from the individual chemical components of the molecule: in addition to nicotinamide, it consists of adenine and the dinucleotide, which is a combination of sugars with phosphate. Incidentally, the latter are also important components of DNA.

Even though the substance is called a coenzyme, it is not an enzyme or protein. Instead, like other coenzymes, the molecule exerts its effect on the specific enzymes. It is only through the presence of the coenzyme that the enzyme is then able to work properly.

Effect of NADH in the body

The mode of action of NADH is based on the release or reabsorption of electrons and protons. This corresponds to oxidation and reduction of the molecule, respectively.

In the body, NADH is produced within glucose or fat metabolism. These are the processes that the human body uses to extract energy from food, for example. This energy is then transferred to the NAD+ by reducing it to NADH. In the process, two electrons and one proton are taken up. The NADH now serves as an energy carrier. In this state, it can also accept another proton, producing NADH+H+. This proton, as well as the proton and electrons first taken up, can then be released elsewhere where their energy is needed.

Subsequently, the NADH or NADH+H+ is further used mainly in cellular respiration. Cellular respiration takes place in the mitochondria, the so-called “power plants of the cell”. Here, the energy-rich NADH is oxidized again, i.e. it releases energy. Subsequently, adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is generated via certain processes. This in turn is the ultimate energy carrier of the cells, without which no cell can survive.

The body needs this energy to maintain the processes taking place in the body. If it is lacking, the body also falters and may not be able to maintain its functions: From DNA production, to cell regeneration, to hormone balance or the immune system, all of these processes rely on an adequate supply of NADH.

In addition, NADH can act as an antioxidant and thus protect the body from the extremely reactive radicals, which are partly responsible for damage to the organs, but also for the aging process of the body. Thus, an important protective effect is also given by this versatile molecule.

Nutritional supplementation with NADH

So, in order for your body to have enough energy to meet everyday demands, NADH is essential. The more NADH is available to your body, the more ATP and ultimately energy can be formed in it.

More energy in turn causes, for example, an improvement in your physical and mental performance, your immune system is strengthened and states of exhaustion are prevented.

If you want to give your body the extra energy, you are welcome to try NADH Vida, which is available in packs of 30 or 10. Side effects?

Another advantage of NADH is that it is an endogenous substance. Therefore, if you follow the dosages indicated for the supplements, no side effects are to be expected. NADH is a natural substance!

Therefore, you are welcome to try the energizing effect of NADH for yourself!
